For first time clients, I offer an initial 15 minute free consultation. Call me or text me at +1-415-7133338 and let’s make a time to speak and see if we are a potential match. I am happy to tell you more about how I work and what us working together might look like in your specific situation. The consultation can be on the phone or over FaceTime or Skype – sometimes being able to see each other’s faces can give a better sense of the connection. Looking forward to hearing from you!
My fee is $175 per session and the sessions are 50 minutes long.
In certain cases, when someone is motivated to do the work and is struggling financially at the moment I can offer a sliding scale from $175 to $125.
I also offer Packages:
-For a package of 5 sessions, the fee per session is $165 per session ($10 less than the regular price), and for a package of 10 sessions tit becomes $155 per session.
5 Sessions Package: $825
My cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance. Clients are financially responsible for sessions, canceled in less than 48 hours before the session time. In some cases I can make an exception if the session gets rescheduled over FaceTime/ Skype or in-person for a time within the same calendar week. , given I have any available openings.
WILL MY INSURANCE PAY FOR MY SESSIONS?
Although I am not a member of any insurance networks some plans will reimburse for my services. You may want to check with yours to see if they will cover individual psychotherapy with an out of network Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist of your choice. If they do, ask them the questions below.
I request payment at each session, but I am happy to prepare a monthly statement for you to submit to your insurance company. There are a diverse array of insurance arrangements. The first thing you should do is check with your insurance carrier.
Check your coverage carefully and find the answers to the following questions:
- Do I have mental health benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
- How much do you pay for an out-of-net provider?
- Is there a limitation on how much you will pay per session?
- Is primary care physician approval required?
